Taking security seriously – GOGO Padlocks

GOGO Padlocks are one of our newest clients, who enlisted our help to re-design their ecommerce site and improve its functionality. They sell a large range of high quality padlocks from top brands including: Henry Squires, Abus and Faithfull. GOGO Padlocks stock padlocks suitable for both everyday and specific purpose use, so you can be sure that they’ll have the right padlock to protect your valuable items. They understand just how distressing burglary and theft can be, and take security very seriously to ensure that they provide only the best, and most secure padlocks to their customers.

Using the wonder that is Magento, our web design experts created an ecommerce site for GOGO Padlocks that was simple and safe for their customers to use. They chose to implement a blue and grey colour scheme, mirroring that of the GOGO Padlocks’ logo, which ensured consistency throughout the site. An easy check out process was installed, which would make the shopping experience much more efficient for customers. They also implemented an automated system which notifies the company when they are running low on specific products. Using Magento the team created a product filtering option, which allows customers to choose the order that they view products in. For example they can select to view their products by name, which will position the products in alphabetical order, making searching for a particular padlock, that much easier.

Once the design for the new ecommerce site was finished, it was important to concentrate on producing quality content for GOGO Padlocks, using specific SEO techniques to improve their online visibility. The company chose key phrases to target, which directly link to their best-selling products, including ‘aluminium padlocks,’ ‘brass padlocks,’ weatherproof padlocks’ and ‘steel padlocks‘. We created a blog which is regularly updated with unique content, featuring links to GOGO Padlocks’ products. Already we have managed to achieve a first page result on Google for the key words ‘aluminium padlocks’ and a second page result for ‘weatherproof padlocks.’

We are continuing to work on all aspects of GOGO Padlocks’ ecommerce site in hope to enhance their customers’ shopping experience, as well as increase traffic to the website and improve the company’s conversion rates.
