The 4th Annual Food and Drink Festival is to hit the streets of Nottingham from the 4th to the 8th of July 2012. This four day festival, which will entice the taste buds, celebrates the best cuisine from around the world, in a city with over 300 cafes, eateries and restaurants.
If you’re a foodie, you will find great delight in the festival, offering a range of cuisine for different palates. Head down to Market Square, which will be transformed to an area offering taste tests, demonstration and markets, selling the best in local, organic and specialty produce. Lets not forget something for the lovers of a great beverage, real ale, home made wines and ciders will be on offer also! Whilst you’re sampling the delights of the Nottingham Food & Drink Festival, you can relax and take in the atmosphere of the performance area.
Many of the events taking place across the city are free, so there is no excuse to take a trip in, enjoy the tastes and sensations, and re-inspire yourself when it comes to creating great food.
The festival involves many of the local bars, cafes and restaurants. You’ll find over 40 market stalls in the square, offering a huge range of food and drink.
