Twitter is useful (or useless) for people depending on circumstances. Plugins such as twitterfeed can really drive up your traffic. Or else, become an influential person and people would definitely follow you.Namecheap recently using twitter as a contest tool to drive up traffic. I would say its a genius move…

It sounds like Twitter can do quite a bit to spread one’s message, but only if they are ready to add a solid amount of effort to their routine. Posting short updates may sound easy, but it can become tedious after a short bit of time, and then it could be hard to continue marketing one’s site in that fashion.
