Global Courses For English Learners – New Web Design
Posted by Dave Wiltshire on August, 25th 2009We have just started a great new web design project for MacMillan Publishing developing a site for a course for English Learners. It will be a useful resource for users around the globe allowing easy information sharing. Information will be distributed throughout the site in several media, blog feeds, downloadable PDF’s, Video will lots of content provided by users and guest writers around the world.
The initial phase of the project is a very slimline teaser site that will be the pre-curser for the main website. The site will be built with a heavily customised WordPress management system to facilitate the level of management and content change required. With a strong existing brand the website will serve to communicate the brand strength that Global has already and simple conversion techniques will be implemented to encourage users to interact with the website interface and resources available.
