With several thousand water coolers now unserviced, York based AquaPoint is gearing up to help supply and service. Powwow’s large range of water coolers, water chillers and recyclable plastic cups wasn’t enough to keep Powwow afloat in this competitive market for office supplies. Cashflow was blamed for Powwow’s demise and decision was made to go into administration as soon as possible. The thousands of companies affected by this change are looking for new water cooler suppliers such as AquaPoint, for fear the service may be terminated at any time.
Powwow have been critised in the past for their rapid growth buying out many smaller water cooler sellers trying to monopolise. AquaPoint’s Water Cooler service has filled the gap left by Powwow and continues to grow steadily in the UK.
